It’s “concerning” that Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., has voted now against two key nominees, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard, but still, Senate Republicans have the votes to approve the nominees that will deliver what Americans voted for when they chose President Donald Trump, Rep. Michael Cloud, R-Texas, told Newsmax Thursday.
“They did not want the status quo,” Cloud said on “Newsline.” “You have some senators who are still trying to embrace the status quo — hold on to yesteryear for whatever reason — but it’s been highly ineffective.”
Meanwhile, Trump’s administration will “right the ship” in agencies that went “rogue” under former President Joe Biden, said Cloud.
