MAGA Supporters Irate with McConnell After Hegseth No Vote

MAGA supporters are irate with Sen. Mitch McConnell over his vote against Pete Hegseth for defense secretary, reports Newsweek.

McConnell, R-Ky., was one of three Republican senators to vote no on Hegseth, forcing Vice President JD Vance to cast a tiebreaker vote.

“The most consequential cabinet official in any Administration is the Secretary of Defense,” McConnell wrote, explaining his opposition.
